Power Precision has designed and built multiple replacement 2.4 kV single pole vacuum circuit breakers for remote controlled electric locomotives.  The original breakers were obsolete and their replacements would not fit the existing enclosures.

Power Precision designed the new electrically operated breakers to fit the existing enclosures with

• custom powder coated sheet metal faceplates
• trip and close pushbuttons,
• manual trip and lockout mechanisms and
• breaker status indicators.

The breakers are installed on removable trays for ease of installation and maintenance.

Power Precision provided on site installation and commissioning services to complete the project. These breakers are suitable for a wide variety of applications and are available from 2.4 kV to 15 kV.
